Violet's parents have both passed away; her father as a result of diabetes and her mother from a snake bite. She lives with her grandparents, six older and five younger siblings. Her favorite Bible truth is Honor your Father and Mother. She helps at home by washing dishes and drawing the water. She is very thankful to be at school and most enjoys Literacy and Social Studies. She and her best friend, Sylvia, like to play with toys and waida - a game similar to Chinese jump rope. Violet hopes to one day become a nurse or a teacher.
